For "Just Me" Plan:

The Insured must be a Indonesia Resident, and aged 18 to 85 years of age on the effective date of the insurance. Indonesia Resident means an Indonesia Citizen or a Non-Indonesia Citizen, who holds a valid Non-Tourist visa at the time of applying for the insurance.

For "Couple" Plan:

Two individuals traveling together, aged 18 to 85 years (inclusive).

Yes, all Indonesian nationals travelling whether for leisure or business purposes to the European countries under the Schengen agreement require a Schengen Visa and as part of the Schengen Visa application you must have a travel insurance policy covering your trip. Please note, not all countries in Europe are under the Schengen agreement. For example the UK and Ireland are not part of the Schengen Visa arrangements.

Yes for Single Trip policies, we will refund the premium to you in full, if for any reason you are denied a Visa by the country where the trip takes place. All you need to do is provide satisfactory evidence that the Consulate has denied your visa before your trip was scheduled to start.

Medical Cover

No, the policy does not cover any pregnancy-related issues.

Any condition which You have reasonable knowledge of, in the twelve (12) months prior to the Effective Date. You are considered to have reasonable knowledge of a pre-existing condition where the condition is one for which:

  1. You have received or are receiving medical treatment, diagnosis, consultation or prescribed drugs; or
  2. medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment was recommended by a Physician; or
  3. clear and distinct symptoms are or were evident; or
  4. its existence would have been apparent to a reasonable person in the circumstances.

A medical examination is not required, however, do note that any pre-existing medical conditions are not covered.

Sports and Sporting Equipment

Trip Cancellation

Yes this is covered, provided it is certified by a medical practitioner that you are unfit for travel. The journey cancellation benefit covers the unrecoverable costs of your flight and accommodation if you are forced to cancel any part of a planned journey prior to the departure date. We will pay expenses paid all or partly in advance as deposit or in advance which are not being used or forfeited non-refundable payments or deposits, which are not recoverable from any other source.

What type of cancellation events are covered under the policy?

  1. Your Death;
  2. You sustaining Bodily Injury or becoming ill, which in the opinion of a Physician causes You to be unfit to travel on a Scheduled Departure Date;
  3. The death of Your Family Member or Travel Companion before the Scheduled Departure Date;
  4. Bodily Injury or illness of Your Family Member or Travel Companion necessitating him/her to be Confined to a Hospital;
  5. You or Your Travel Companion are required to or be in compulsory quarantine, or jury service, or are subpoenaed or hijacked;
  6. Cancellation of Scheduled Common Carrier services consequent upon Strike, Riot or Civil Commotion which is beyond Your control at the planned Destination;
  7. Your residence in Indonesia becoming uninhabitable following fire, storm or flood occurring such that Your presence is required on the premises on the Scheduled Departure Date.;

The policy does not cover if you cancel your trip due to this type of situation. If for any reason you are denied a Visa by the country where the trip takes place, we will refund your single trip premium in full provided that you can provide satisfactory evidence that the Consulate has denied your visa before your trip was scheduled to start.

Yes, if your home is in habitable and the event occurs within seven (7) days before your scheduled departure date.


Single Trip policies are non-cancellable and non-refundable.


For annual policies, you may cancel the policy and the company will refund the premium after deducting a partial for the effective period of the policy on a pro-rata basis.
